Disston Precision builds in quality by using only the finest raw materials and expert workmanship. We use the finest super alloy steel which is made exclusively for Disston Precision. We heat treat our steel to precise hardness up to 52 HRc for optimum toughness strength and wear resistance. We grind and polish our press plates to produce the ultimate in parallelism and flatness. All dimensions are made to your exact specifications.

Cylinder Jackets or Tympans
Used for regular or converted Miehle presses used to cut,crease or score paper or cardboard. Disston
jackets are made of a special alloy steel. They are steel
plates made and curved to exactly fit the cylinder. All our jackets are made to the same exacting standards as our flat plates.
